An evening cruise on the Melody from Chalong Pier along the south coast to watch the sunset off Promthep Cape, with a buffet dinner of BBQ, Thai and Indian dishes. Pickup runs from Kamala at about 14:40 to Kata at about 15:40. On a training week: pickup is in the mid-afternoon, so it replaces the afternoon session; train in the morning and keep the evening for the boat. It is all sitting and eating, which makes it a good end to a hard week, and it is back the same evening. From the camps: the cruise leaves from Chalong Pier, a few minutes from the Chalong camps and about 15 minutes from the Rawai camps, the two areas with the most camps on our list in Phuket.
