Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Thap Lamu

A sea turtle conservation centre at Thap Lamu, south of Khao Lak, where rescued turtles are cared for before they go back to the sea. The bookable day adds bamboo rafting on a jungle river and a waterfall stop, with hotel pickup in Khao Lak. On a training week: an easy day of walking and a slow bamboo raft on a river, so it fits a rest day or a day off from the second session. Nothing here loads the legs, and the river is fresh water. From the camps: Thap Lamu is about 15 to 20 minutes south of Khao Lak by car, and the pickup covers the Khao Lak stays near the camps on our list there.
