A long day from Chiang Mai to the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) and Wat Huay Pla Kang, with stops at the Mae Kachan hot spring and a Karen long-neck village. Meets near Tha Phae Gate. On a training week: a very long day, about 3 hours each way by minivan plus the stops, so keep it for your full rest day and expect to be back late. It is all sitting and short walks, which the legs will thank you for, but take water and snacks for the road. From the camps: it meets near Tha Phae Gate in the old city of Chiang Mai, a short ride from most stays in town.
