James Bond Island from Krabi

A day trip from Krabi by minivan and longtail boat into Phang Nga Bay to Khao Phing Kan and the Ko Ta Pu rock, with lunch at the Koh Panyee stilt village, a cave temple and a waterfall stop. About 8 hours, mostly sitting, so it suits a full rest day. On a training week: about 8 hours, mostly sitting in a minivan and a longtail, so it is a full rest day and a good one for sore legs. There is little swimming, so fresh cuts are not a worry, but take a hat and water for the open boat. From the camps: pickup is from stays in Ao Nang, where most of the Krabi camps on our list are, and from Krabi Town. The drive to the pier in Phang Nga Bay takes about an hour and a half, which is why the day starts early.
